International Union “International Congress of Industrialists and Entepre-neurs” (ICIE)

The International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) is a public, non-governmental organization established in February 1992 on the initiative of national structures of business circles from the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Europe and Asia.
At present ICIE unites business unions of industrialists and entrepreneurs, as well as employers' organizations from 22 countries of Europe and Asia: Azerbaijan. Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, China, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russian Federation, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Various commercial organizations active on national and international markets are also members of the ICIE.
The International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs has official status with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as formalized long-term cooperation relations with the Eurasian Economic Commission, the CIS Executive Committee, the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation, the Business Councils of the Eurasian Economic Union,BRICS, the International Centre for Science and Technology (ICSTI),
ICIE partners are many industry associations, investment, innovation, public funds, consulting and law firms, scientific institutions and educational establishments.
To implement in practice the basic directions of activity the corresponding structure of working bodies has been formed, including thematic committees and commissions of the Congress, Coordination Councils, Representative Offices in a number of countries.
The main directions of ICIE activity are consulting and legal support of its members, development and implementation of research, production, investment programs and projects. The International Congress also provides support in the creation and development of enterprises of various forms of ownership, in their adaptation to the conditions of market economy, in the expansion of international relations in order to strengthen the economic and industrial potential of the country.
