Research and Development Main directions of R&D: 1)Bacterial preparations Development of new conjugated polysaccharide vaccines for the prevention of Haemophilus influenzae type b, pneumococcal and meningococcal infections. Development of diagnostic and enzyme products. 2)Recombinant preparations Development of high-tech recombinant vaccines and pharmaceutical products based on E. coli platform. 3)Virus preparations Development of influenza and other virus vaccines based on chicken embryos platform. Development of reference standards of influenza antigens and sera. 4)Virology and immunology Studies of immune response to vaccination and in infections. R&D on virology and epidemiology of localized zoonotic infections, including BSL 3 (PBA II).
